The past 18 months has seen a horrific escalation in the Israeli occupation in Palestine.

The United Nations highest court has ruled Israel is in breach of international law by continuing to occupy Palestinian territories in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The court ordered Israel to evacuate all settlers immediately, stop all new settlement activity and pay reparations to the Palestinian people, yet instead the world is witnessing a livestreamed genocide.

The Aburaida family, whose home was in Gaza, have been in contact with my friend Nevo and have been supoprted financially over the last 12 months through mutual aid. The funds that have been raised have assisted part of the family to be evacuated from Gaza, while some still remain trapped there.

Diaa and his wife Farah were able to evacuate to Egypt right before Farah gave birth to their now 1 year old daughter Lamar.

Wael, Hasan, his wife Shahd and their beautiful daughter Hayat were evacuated to Egypt, then Greece and now Belgium, where they are constantly at risk of eviction from their rental and need money for food, clothes, nappies and other staples.

Remaining in Gaza and living in unthinkable conditions are teenagers Dana, Donia, Doaa, Ibrahim and heads of the family Baba and Mama. They require money to pay extortionate prices for what little food is available, since Israel is blocking aid from entering Gaza.

All money will go directly to this family and reciepts and Whatsapp messages from Doaa and Wael with updates will be posted.
